Visualize Data in Real Time with Live Charts On Your Dashboard

In order to make sense of data, you need timely actionable information. With Advanced data visualization, you can quickly make sense of the raw data and make business decisions out of it.

Visualizing data in different types of charts such as bar, bench, pie or radar chart is good, however these charts do not show how the data has changes over time or how it is changing in real-time. In order to add the dimension of time to your raw data, it needs to be visualized using real time charts. Below are some examples of live motion charts supported by JReport.

Motion Charts:
In motion charts, data is not just limited to two dimensions, a third dimension of time and forth dimension of size is added to the data. Data points grow and shrink as they move across the XY plane which is ideal for viewing data as it changes over time.

Scrollable Charts:
This type of chart is useful if you have huge set of data on the X-axis and you can’t view all the data at once. Scrollable charts make it easier by letting you choose a start point and end point for your X-axis. You can then drag these end points along the X-axis to view the data within it.

In the image below, you can see under the X-axis, there is a start and end point selected which shows the data within that range in the chart.

Real-Time Charts:
